We would like to thank all the runners and crew who came out and gave our race try. I will get the results up tomorrow. Now Its time to sit back and relax.
Thanks Phil for all your obvious hard work. Aside from all the pain, I had a terrific time. If you're interested in getting a few hundred people there next year, let me know. I'd loved to be involved in helping you grow the race. Imagine 200 people crawling up that hellish climb! Makes my heart warm just thinking about it. :-) Thanks again to you, Rick, and all the other kind folks involved. Tim
Thanks Phil and RIck-- Rick and I had a wonderful time on the 37 miler- well worth the 9 hour drive. The excellent pre-race food, easy quiet camping by the lake, two unique trails-- one running on the "dinosaur's backbone" with lakes on one side and snowfields on the other, the second with a kaleidoscope of wildflowers... it was the essence of a perfect summer run. I can attest that the 37 miler was extremely well-marked. We really loved this event on Grand Mesa. Congrats on your hard work. And thanks to the volunteers at the aid stations.
